Finn x Scurry (Repeat)

Born October 13, 2009 — three males and one female. This is a repeat of the breeding that produced this lovely and feisty girl, Fling! (click photos for k9data pedigree pages):

Fling at 15 months old (out of coat)

On Dec. 5th the pups were evaluated for conformation and temperament tested using the Sheila Booth “Positive Puppy Preview” methods; they were also bird tested by Glenda Brown. All the pups now have homes!

These pups are natural retrievers who like their wings and birds!

Here are all the pups:

Gold Boy is now called “Boomer” and lives with Susan and Tod where he will be loved– and also get to play in flyball, obedience, agility, and tracking.

Dockie (this little boy had his tail compromised in utero and it had to be docked– he is otherwise healthy and active, and when the fur grows back on his hind end he will look like a Golden with an Aussie tail).  He is a *very* handsome boy!

Dockie at 7.5 weeks old -- what a face!

“Dockie” now called Toby, has gone to live with Ted and Sharon and their two kids in the San Francisco Bay Area– they are having a ball with him!

Girlie

“Dazzle”  has gone to live with Tiffany and Mike Taylor of SkyHigh Retrievers in Washington (with 3 months a year in So. California) where she will join new golden sister Fergie and get to train for her WC and JH– and hopefully do other fun things as well.

Girlie Girl plays with Big Sister Fling!

These pups should be quite talented and able to play any games their new owners want! We expect them to be especially good at flyball, agility, obedience, and in the field. Blonde and Gold boys and Girlie might also be breed-ring prospects as they have lovely conformation and come from a long line of very nice CHs on both sides of the pedigree.

Here’s a little snippet of video showing Dazzle’s intitial reaction to a fresh pheasant wing!

    Thanks,

Hi Karen– I am thrilled to report that “Dockie” is in his new home complete with two kids who already adore him! All’s well that end’s well– no pun intended! Thank you for your interest, and please keep in touch.
