Finn Pups

IMG_6834

Finnegan has sired 19 litters as of November 2013, some of them for service dog organizations.

Five of his offspring — Keara, Kaelen, Kaylee, Larissa and Lamara — have been selected as breeders by Canine Companions for Independence and Guide Dogs for the Blind, an honor indeed as these esteemed organizations only select the best of the best in health and temperament. Lavette, Lakota, and Garfield are working Guide Dogs, Valor is a CCI Hearing Dog — and other Finn pups are close to graduation, in advanced training, or with puppy raisers. And now his grandkids are beginning to train as service dogs and some have been chosen as breeders for the service orgs as well.

Many of his other pups are currently training and beginning to show in multiple venues– they are already titled or pointed in tracking, flyball, agility, obedience, field work, and in the conformation ring! Others are therapy dogs such as in the PAWS for Reading program. Still others are active hunting dogs, retrieving upland game and water fowl.

Finn is reproducing his strong breed type; compact, balanced structure; good bone; correct coat; lovely head with unfading pigment; natural athleticism; confidence and enthusiasm; trainability/biddability; problem-solving skills and persistence; drive and retrieve instinct; excellent nose; and his affectionate nature. As of 2012, Finn is a GRCA Outstanding Sire!

Finnegan has sired some lovely litters to date, and we have some equally nice matches planned for 2013. For photos and more information, go to the Breedings page.
